Vocabulary Development

Allow students to access background knowledge and enhance curriculum through the use of visuals. Practicing decoding skills, word analysis and powerful word sorting activities with manipulation of digital text.

Vocabulary training focuses on letter patterns, roots and affixes, synonyms, antonyms, multiple meaning words, figurative language, idioms, analogies, metaphors. Customized training allows for grade levels to examine their specific Word Analysis, Fluency, and Systematic Vocabulary Development standards and/or ELD Standards for Vocabulary Development.
